The project for the improvement of the Park in the floodplain of the Bitsa River is a specific case. The territory of the improvement is a district park and its visitors are mainly local residents. On the one hand, such a park should have an individual character which reflects the identity of the area, while on the other, it should become a natural extension of the daily life of the residents. These factors were taken into account while designing and implementation of the project.

About half of the park's visitors are young people who prefer spending their time playing sports in the open air, walking with children and taking a break from the city noise. Due to these requests, there were created new sports zones in the park. We also considered preferences in the types of sports. The existing playgrounds were repaired, new ones were organized, and a zone with a sandbox, a trampoline and various playgrounds was created for little children. There also has been organized an amphitheater and a stage on a hill for any events.

The main feature of the park is the ponds, as well as the prominent relief of the Bitsa river floodplain, which was highlighted in the project. The long coastline of the ponds made it possible to form an embankment and a walking zone along the coast. There are also wooden decks and piers to go down to water with benches. Thus, the project managed to highlight the colorful aesthetics of the park, as well as create new functions that meet the needs of residents.
