The concept and project for the landscape design of the territory of the Business Park in ALIA residential area were developed by our company. The design was carried out in parallel with the construction of the complex in cooperation with the international architectural company Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), which designed the complex of business park buildings. The project developer was ASTERUS company.
The business park is located in the Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo area on the site of the former DOSAAF airfield. Therefore, one of the main ideas that found its embodiment in this project was a reminder of the history of the place and the people who conquered the sky and devoted their lives to the development of aviation. To do this, on the main square of the business park and on the central boulevard, we placed several water "mirrors" with a total area of 1,354 square meters. meters. These are reservoirs where the surface of the water is visually on the same level with the paving. The main purpose of this technique is to create a water surface that captures more of the sky in the reflection and enhances the role of aerial perspective in the architectural image of the complex.
When developing the concept of the territory, another idea was to create a feeling of wild nature among dense high-tech buildings, in which it would be possible to hide for a while and relieve stress. The effect is achieved through dense greenery, the creation of an artificial relief, as well as mixed plantings of plants that have the most natural appearance and crown shape.
We also have created a small square in the central part of the business park. The main idea of this element is to create the feeling of a green island in the center of the business district. To do this, with the help of plants and geoplastics, "green cabinets" were formed that allow you to work in the fresh air, surrounded by natural greenery.
The amphitheater with a wide lawn in the southern part of the business park is a free space for recreation. The multi-level relief closes it from the roadway. Opposite the amphitheater is a seasonal cafe area.
During the development of the project, we encountered one difficulty that deserves mention. The fact is that almost the entire territory of improvement is located on the exploited roof of the stylobate. To solve this problem, we actively used geoplastics, which makes it possible to locally increase the volume of the substrate for the root system of trees, while minimally increasing the load on the supporting structures.
