Several complex engineering and environmental problems have been solved while designing and implementation of the project for the complex improvement and landscaping of the Khodynskoye Pole park. It was created from scratch – previously the place was occupied by airfield. Open space and high buildings contributed to the formation of strong wind streams in the area projected, which, as a result, led to soil erosion. This problem was solved by forming 4 artificial hills and adding various plants. In addition, to provide a unique microclimate for the territory, the park was equipped with a pond, a "dry" fountain of 254 jets and an automatic irrigation system.

The pedestrian zone consists of a path network which is closely integrated with the relief of the park. The main paths go around the hills, the pond, and also connect the attraction zones and the entrances to the park. Additional winding paths are located on the hillsides and lead to a variety of recreational areas. The project provides three playgrounds for kids of different age. The concept of the largest playground "Aviator" is connected with the history of the airfield. There are also four sports zones in the park. The first one is designed for fans of skating, roller skating and bicycles. The second is dedicated to playing sports. The third one provides power classes with special athletic equipment. The last one is made specially for elderly people to train. There are two tennis courts, two basketball fields, a workout and a parkour courts, as well as a table tennis court nearby. The main beauty of the park is a decorative pond with an embankment of a varied coastline: bridges, piers to go down to the water, decorative plants in the pond.
