The design area consists of two sites located in the neighborhood: the Clinical Hospital on Pekhotnaya Street. and a maternity hospital on Sosnovaya.

The main difficulty in working on the facility was the need to link the needs of various groups of users of the territory: medical staff, patients, visitors and relatives of patients, technical services that ensure the operation of the hospital.

To begin with, we have optimized user routes in such a way as to avoid crossing flows - ambulances, taxis, visitors, garbage trucks, ambulance cars - everyone must clearly understand their route through the territory so as not to create difficulties for others, because the cost of delay is sometimes human life. Next, we carried out functional zoning, separating staff recreation areas from areas for patients and their visitors and technical areas, and also combined waste collection sites in one place with a separate entrance. We also provided separate parking lots for ambulances next to the intensive care unit, collected randomly scattered parking areas of the hospital staff in several free zones, organized a parking lot for funeral service cars and a recreation area for people who came to say goodbye to their loved ones.

When developing the landscape design of recreational areas, our idea was that being among calm forms and smooth lines, surrounded by flowering greenery, has a positive effect on the psycho-emotional state of a person. This, in turn, has a positive effect both on the dynamics of the recovery of patients and on the restoration of the health of medical personnel.

Therefore, landscape design is made in the technique of "flowing landscape", forming a smooth and natural transition of coatings into landscaping, thus creating the effect of a barrier-free space in which nature and people are close to each other. The concept is dominated by smooth lines and forms, which can be traced not only in the configuration of paths, but also in plantings and small architectural forms.

Another important design element is the use of natural materials. The creation of flower beds, the use of geoplastics and the planting of new trees make the space more intimate and comfortable to stay.

Like the heart of a living organism, in the central recreation area we placed a fountain in the form of an iridescent bowl, with pulsating circles diverging on the surface of the water.

For the hospital staff, we designed several quiet recreation areas, as well as an active recreation area with the ability to engage in several sports: mini-football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and workout.

The architecture of hospital buildings built at different times is quite different from each other. In order to give the territory a recognizable identity, we have developed a unified design of small architectural forms, fences, canopies and navigation elements.
