The design area consists of a small area in front of the building of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, an open parking lot and an entrance group. Prior to the commencement of work, there was practically no vegetation on the site, with the exception of an ordinary planting of trees along Zhitnaya Street, and the parking lot occupied almost the entire free space. Small architectural forms devoid of individuality and a fence along the perimeter of the territory were installed.

In the concept we developed, it was proposed to revise the functional zoning in favor of increasing the number of recreation areas and green spaces. To the left of the square in front of the main entrance to the ministry building, we placed several recreation areas, separated from transit routes by buffer plantations of ornamental trees and shrubs. Planting trees were also envisaged in the parking lot, creating an additional barrier from noise and dust, as well as providing shade in the warm season.

In addition, we developed a line of individual small architectural forms, a new design for the fence and the pavilion of the entrance group, as well as a paving pattern for the pedestrian zone, which follows the rhythm of the facades of the main building. All design elements have been thought out in such a way as to harmonize with the architecture of the surrounding buildings, emphasizing their individuality and expressiveness.
