The landscape design project covers the territory of the floodplain of the Zhuzha River in the area of the intersection of st. Academika Millionshchikova and Sadovniki, as well as the Cherry Orchard natural area with adjoining territories of adjacent residential buildings.

The design site in the floodplain of the Zhuzha River is located at the junction of the Bolshoi and Savkin ravines. Prior to the start of work, the territory of these ravines was practically not used in any way; there was not even an elementary path network here.

The main difficulty that we encountered in the process of working on this object was the rugged terrain. Due to the fact that the surrounding buildings come close to the edges of the ravines formed by the Zhuzha river system, there are practically no horizontal surfaces left on the site for organizing functional zones. Therefore, we decided to place a landscape park here, which includes a road and path network, places for a quiet rest, with benches and loungers, stairs and footbridges across the river. On the arrow of two ravines, a two-level observation deck with a spiral staircase and a slide for descent is planned. From the upper viewing platform, a panorama of the floodplain of the Zhuzha river will open.

On a small flat area above the ravine, on the left bank of the river, the project proposes a multifunctional sports area with basketball, volleyball, streetball and table tennis courts, as well as workout areas and athletic simulators. On the right bank, upstream and closer to residential buildings, there will be a children's themed play area "The Robber's Lair". The theme of the site was not chosen by chance: according to legend, the famous robber Savka was hiding in one of these ravines in the 17th century, after whom the ravine was named Savkin.

The Cherry Orchard recreation area, despite the fact that it is located in the depths of a residential area, is also practically devoid of elementary infrastructure. The improvement project involves the development of the recreational functionality of this area, mainly intended for recreation surrounded by nature. In addition to walking trails, there will be a gazebo, a quiet area with hammocks and picnic spots. The forest part of the garden will be cleared of dead and diseased trees. Existing trees and shrubs will be trimmed and new trees and bushes will be planted.

The square along Akademika Millionshchikov Street has mainly a transit function. Pedestrian and traffic flows will be optimized here, additional places for recreation will appear, the existing playground will be updated and a recreation area with a swing under a canopy will be equipped.

To create a unique identity for the territory, we turned to history: the neighboring village of Kolomenskoye, which since the 17th century was the grand ducal estate, had a significant impact on the projected territory in the past. Proximity to this cultural and historical center contributed to the active development in neighboring villages and villages (Nagatino, Novinki, Dyakovskoye, Sadovaya Sloboda) of folk crafts, including wooden architecture in the architectural style uzorochye. The architectural and craft traditions of the local population formed the basis for the concept of individual small architectural forms and pavilion decoration elements.
